We're organizing a group Trash the Dress Bridal Portrait Session on the beach in Galveston. We're talking...getting sandy, getting wet, having some fun and capturing some great images. Nothing too structured, just fun.
Anyone is welcome. Brides to be, recent brides, newlyweds...anyone who'd like some fun bridal portraits that reflect your personality. Husbands/fiances are welcome too!
There will be some down time because it is a group session. For this reason, sitting fees will be greatly reduced. You aren't obligated to buy any images. If you like them...great! If you don't and there aren't any images that you'd like to purchase, we'll refund your sitting fee.
Obviously, if you aren't married yet, I wouldn't wear the real dress. Buy a ivory dress from Macy's or e-bay or borrow your sister's dress (LOL)...once you put a veil on, anything can be a wedding dress! We've also got a few dresses that have been donated to the cause. They are available to be trashed on a first come, first serve basis. (if you need help finding something for the session, let us know. We'll be glad to see what we can do)
We've got veils you can borrow if you'd like to wear one and we'll bring an assortment of flowers to use as bouquets.
We haven't set the date for this yet. We've got a couple of balls up in the air, so we're waiting until the end of this week. We just wanted to put it out there and get a feel for who is interested.
