The Friday Family

We had the pleasure of catching up with the Friday family one evening in July. I went to college with Mom so it was great to catch up and meet her beautiful family.

We shot this wonderful couple's engagement session around Montrose and at Hermann Park. They were lots of fun and we are really looking forward to shooting their wedding this Fall.

Wow! I'm Slacking

I can't believe I haven't blogged since June 23! We have some very exciting news that has kept me busy (and sick). Mike and I are expecting another baby in early 2010. Between morning sickness (yeah right, more like all day sickness) and our busy shooting schedules, I've really neglected the blog. I'm very sorry! I promise to try to do better!
More updates coming soon. We shot some great clients in July so we will be posting their pics...we're just a little late!

So in Love...

These lovebirds were a part of our latest photo party at Oyster Creek on a very hot Saturday. They were so cute together and so loving...even in the 90 degree heat. That says a lot!

Happy First Birthday E

Little E came in for some first birthday pictures. The smash cake was so much fun, but mom and I both definitely underestimated the messiness!

Sweet Brittany

We shot Brittany's senior pictures at the urban park in Houston. She is so gorgeous. She was a little shy at first, but it didn't take long before she loosened up and we got some great shots. We shot in the late afternoon so the light was perfect. Brittany told us that she wanted something different, not cookie-cutter, so we played with some new processing on her images also. Here are a few of my favorites.

The Bayne Family

We met up with this handome family at Oyster Creek Park also. Between adorable little C and their bulldog Boudreaux, we were really excited about this session.

Little C wasn't a big fan of Mike or I, but we did manage to get some fun shots of him. We just had to be a little more sneaky :)

The Williams Boys

Big brother R was such a great help at getting little F to smile. He was a good sport!We played with these two a couple of weeks ago at Oyster Creek Park in Sugarland. Look at the beautiful eyes on these two!

Robert + Kim = Fun Afternoon

Normally, on engagement sessions, we place the couple, walk to where we are going to shoot from and then turn around and ask them to kiss, cuddle, look at each other, etc. At Robert and Kim's session, when we turned around, they were already at it. They were the sweetest, most affectionate, loving couple I've ever worked with. They made our job so easy.

Congratulations Robert and Kim. We can't wait to shoot your wedding in November!

Sweet Little G

Mom wanted some casual candids of K and T...and we were at the beach. I'm sure those of you who know us aren't surprised that they ended up in the water :) What a great session.

We played with the Brown Family on the beach a couple of weeks ago. These guys had so much energy! They were a lot of fun. We tried to keep up :)

We really wanted to capture the fun playful nature of this wonderful family. I hope we did. It is impossible to be around these guys and not have a smile on your face.

We had the pleasure of shooting Jason and Valerie's beautiful Pearland wedding in April. These two are so adorable together and so much in love.
